the no waste method of flying geese - This is a great way to make four flying geese at once.  Goes fast, the math is simple and there are no bias seams to sew together.  Thanks to Chris for finding this link and passing it on to me.  Thanks to Patti Anderson of Patchpieces for so generously sharing with us.  When you are there, check out the rest of her Patchpieces site.

mitered borders - Don't be afraid of mitered borders.  Just follow my instructions, step by step and they are a breeze.

pillowcase pattern - This pattern is as quick and easy as it gets.  Make one for each of your children/grandchildren in a fun print.  We have them all over the house.
