Quilt Retreat Getaway Weekends

We have selected our book for our 2008 retreats!
In 2007, we made a change and selected a book to work from for the weekend instead of an individual project. This gave our participants a chance to be working on a number of different quilt patterns. The consensus was they loved the format so we are repeating it in 2008.
I called and spoke to Judy Martin on the phone and she was delighted to give me permission for us to use her book for our 2008 retreats.
Judy's book has a number of beautiful quilts for quilters with little experience to an advanced quilter. In addition, the book has wonderful information on color and value, cutting techniques, many helpful hints and fantastic borders.
Prefer to work on a project of your own for the weekend?
No problem. We would be glad to help you with any project you have. Please, just bring it along. The book will be still be yours to keep.
cost and registration information
The cost of the retreat is $190 for the weekend. This includes:
- instruction starting at 7:00 PM on Friday evening. Registration from
5:00 PM to 6:30 PM - Judy Martin's Log Cabin Quilt Book
- continental breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday
- brunch on Sunday
- lodging on Friday and Saturday evening
A registration packet with "everything you need and need to know" will be sent to all registered participants on September 1, 2008. They will also receive a copy of Judy Martin's Log Cabin Quilt Book and instructions on selecting a project.
A $90 deposit is required at the time of registration to hold your spot. The deposit is refundable (less $40 if registration packet has been mailed, the book will be yours to keep) until October 1, 2008.
